SAW is the acronym for Software Audio Workshop. This program runs in Microsoft Windows.  SAWPro is a digital hard disk editing software from Innovative Quality Software for WinNT/95/98. While other systems rely heavily on complex and expensive hardware to manipulate digital audio, SAWPro relies extensively on hand-coded, 32 bit Assembly Language programming to efficiently manipulate the digital audio within the software using the computer's CPU. The SAWPro system is not directly dependent on one proprietary hardware design, it offers much more flexibility and user choice in selecting the exact configuration to fit specific needs.
